On May 9th, Ping Identity held its first ever all-staff volunteer day, a global initiative in which staff “ditched their desk” to lend a helping hand to non-profit organizations and the communities they serve. Employees eagerly participated in a variety of programs, including garden beautification projects, park and beach cleanups, aiding those inflicted by food insecurity, assisting elderly residents with household tasks and maintenance, and much more.
Impact
Environmental
Employees joined community cleanup efforts, rolling up their sleeves and picking up litter to help beautify public spaces. Employees also participated in community garden activities, where they planted seeds, pulled weeds, and tended to the soil. Ping Identity employees were excited to know that their efforts would result in fresh produce for those in need and provide access to clean public spaces.

Humanitarian Aid
Ping Identity employees were also keen on supporting those who are less fortunate in their communities. They participated in activities that brought joy to vulnerable populations, such as organizing recreational activities for children in need, visiting the elderly in nursing homes and supporting individuals with disabilities.
Ping Employees in Sydney, Australia volunteering at Dandelion Support Network, an organization that supports vulnerable families with material goods, with the vision that all babies and children have access to nursery items essential for their safety, well-being, and development.
Food Insecurity
Addressing food insecurity was another important focus for Ping Identity employees during their day of volunteering. They joined local food banks and shelters, sorting and packing food items to be distributed to individuals and families facing hunger. Some employees also volunteered their time at soup kitchens, serving meals to those experiencing homelessness or food insecurity and engaging in meaningful conversations with those they were helping.
