As the year comes to an end, we have a lot to be grateful for at Ping Identity. We're nearing two decades of serving customers and working with partners to solve complex identity security problems and stay out front in our industry.
This year our customers broke new ground, expanding what was possible to improve security and the user experience for their workforce and customers. Our partner community continues its growth and we appreciate the depth of our partnerships with experienced partners who have been key to the success of us and our customers during nearly two decades of Ping's existence.
We've grown our platform tremendously, with new fraud detection, identity verification, dynamic authorization and orchestration capabilities to help make your experiences more seamless and secure.
As we reflect on what we're thankful for and enjoy the spirit of the holiday season, we're paying it forward by helping some of those most in need. On your behalf—each of our valued customers and partners—we've made a donation to Water For People which provides:
- Clean water services and construction of new water points across the globe.
- Training for pump mechanics to ensure long-term functionality of water systems.
- Heath and hygiene training for students in schools.
Villagers of Banashyam Bagar in eastern India—primarily the women—had to walk almost a mile to fetch water, queue up for 40 minutes, and carry full, heavy vessels back. Water For People installed a deep well hand pump that serves 32 families and saves them hours each day.
With almost 30 years of experience in nine countries, Water For People has seen and lived how clean water changes everything. Their partnerships with communities, local governments and local businesses has enabled nearly 4.7 million people to gain access to reliable water services to date. Their work continues toward the goal of bringing water to Everyone Forever.
Water changes everything for those with little or no access to a clean, safe, protected source. It saves hours of time, improves health, sanitation, and nutrition, supports productive gardens, allows parents to better care for their children, enables students to attend school regularly, provides a needed resource to make bricks and build shelters, and much more.
Makalani Village in southern Malawi lacked a safe water source. Water for People collaborated with the village and the Chiradzulu district council to drill a borehole, giving more than 300 people reliable access to safe water nearby.
We hope this news brings you some additional holiday cheer with the knowledge that it is you, customers and partners alike, who made this reality.
Water For People knows that for every dollar donated and invested in clean water, the health and economic benefits add up to a seven-fold return.
The community of San Jose del Norte in rural Bolivia had a single water source that was a 45-minute walk round trip. Today, everyone in the district of San Pedro has reliable water service. The district now manages its own water system, the first district to reach Water For People's Forever milestone.
We did this as part of our Ping4Good program to benefit both our planet and its people.
Water For People's Everyone Forever Tracker shows their global impact by each district and country where they work.

We raise a toast to all of you, while remembering that millions have and will be able to raise toasts of their own with clean water thanks to Water For People.
Cheers to 2022!
