Our international program to put people over profit
Ping4Good is a transformative program dedicated to fostering sustainability and empowering communities that was created in 2021. With Ping4Good, we strive to create a positive impact on both individuals and the environment. Our mission is to make our world a better place by utilizing innovative technology and collaborative partnerships to achieve our goals. This program leverages the power of digital platforms to connect individuals, organizations, and businesses with sustainable initiatives and foster a sense of collective responsibility toward the planet and future generations.
Ping4Good offers us the opportunity to build a strong and trusted brand that engages with programs that are socially responsible and environmentally conscious. We want our customers and partners to be proud of our partnership as we prioritize social, community, and environmental responsibility.
Ping4Good's platform connects businesses with other organizations, nonprofits, and individuals who share similar values and goals. This opens up opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, and networking, expanding business connections and potential customer bases.
Employee morale and engagement are equally important to us and being part of Ping4Good will help serve their sense of being part of something bigger and meaningful.
From community-based programs to environmental initiatives, Ping4Good benefits people and the planet in a number of important ways. Here are some of the highlights.
With our Planting for Purpose program, Ping has helped plant over 26,000 trees and counting in Peru, Rwanda, South Africa, and parts of Northern Africa.
Ping supported the organization Water for People to provide access to clean water for those in need. These important initiatives included the construction of water systems and training for health and hygiene.
In support of Girls’ Day, Ping sponsored self-defense classes for girls in Hamburg, Germany.
At Identiverse, Ping partnered with A Precious Child to help Colorado children in need. All visitors at our booth were encouraged to build bags that provided students with school supplies.
Under the Ping4Good umbrella, Divya Handa ran a workshop with 120 school girls to help them understand career options and possibilities in cyber security.
Both inside and outside the IT industry, gender inequality remains a very real issue in the workplace. But the tide is slowly turning. Eurostat data shows that in 2020 women accounted for 41% of employment in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) jobs in the EU—nearly a 5% improvement from 2019. Nonetheless, with women comprising 51% of the population, there is still work to be done.
Ping takes great pride in helping garner interest in STEM careers among young women. By investing in their futures, Ping hopes to help start closing the gender gap while also uncovering latent female talent that can help build a better tomorrow. Getting girls involved in STEM at a young age is the most important cog in the wheel to help balance gender diversity in technology, cybersecurity, and identity.
We’ve participated in a number of initiatives such as Girls and Science to mentor and encourage girls in Denver to embrace careers in STEM. Plus, we’ve developed an online quiz that teaches young women the importance of safe internet use and introduces them to identity protection.
"A nice gesture and the right thing to do"
"We appreciate this unique way of giving back to the planet"
"What a refreshing initiative. We will take great pleasure in sharing its successes."
We offer a number of ways that you can get involved with Ping4Good to join us in making a positive impact. From community events to environmental initiatives, keep an eye out for charitable programs in your region.
Ping has launched an exciting platform to promote sustainability at trade shows and events. For every person that visits a Ping Identity booth, we help reforest a damaged ecosystem by planting a tree.
